Driver Wright was admitted to hospital on February 1st suffering from mastoidditis which is a bacterial infection in the bone behind the ear. History shows that he had this problem at an earlier time and that sugery had been done. He was operated on a second time and Driver Wright gradually sank and he died on the night of February 14, 1916 at 10 pm.
He died at the Stationary Hospital located at the Exhibition Camp on the Toronto lakefront.
