Private Watters arrived in England on November 11, 1916 and was admitted to the Military Hospital located at Seaforth in Liverpool that same day. In all probability he had contacted pneumonia on the voyage from Canada to England. He was a very slight man of 130 pounds.
Five days later on November 15, 1916 at 9:45pm he died of pneumonia.
